Bonnie J. (Knoll) Carnahan, 1944 – 2022

CLOVERDALE – Bonnie J. Carnahan, 78, of Cloverdale, died at 3:16 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born on February 21, 1944 in Louisville, KY., to the late Curtis and Phyllis (Widmer) Knoll. On August 3, 1963, she married Raynord Carnahan, he survived in Cloverdale.

Bonnie is also survived by one son: Robbin (Lisa) Carnahan of Continental; five grandchildren: Jessica (Nick) Pappas, Ross (Skyler) Carnahan, Kylee Carnahan, Mikel Carnahan and Cody Carnahan; five great-grandchildren: Venus Pappas, Delora Pappas, Hunter Williams-Carnahan, Ryker Carnahan, Adalynn Carnahan; and one brother: Jim Knoll of Fremont, IN.

She is predeceased by one son, Russell Shawn Carnahan; one great-granddaughter, Meredith Pappas; one brother, Larry “Buck” Knoll; and two sisters, Rose Carnahan and Lois Knoll.

Bonnie was a member of North Creek United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Ohio Child Conservation League. She loved to read, especially the Bible and daily devotions. Bonnie enjoyed her time with her family.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at North Creek United Methodist Church, North Creek with Pastor Rick Noggle officiating. Interment will follow at Sherman Cemetery in Oakwood. A visit will take place on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, and again on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to North Creek United Methodist Church.
