Cumberland Piano Trio will perform on March 12
The Oak Ridge Civic Music Association Chamber Music Series presents the Cumberland Piano Trio at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at First United Methodist Church, 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
The trio will present a pre-concert conference from 7 p.m. The pre-concert conference is free with ticket purchase. Tickets cost $25 for adults; young adults (19-29) $10; youth 18 and under free. Tickets and additional information are available at https://orcma.org/cumberlandpianotrio.

The Cumberland Piano Trio includes Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra principal pianist Emi Kagawa, concertmaster Karen Kartal and music director Dan Allcott on cello, according to an ORCMA press release. The program remains as previously announced with music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Clara Schumann and Arthur Foote.
“The Cumberland Piano Trio is an East Tennessee area favorite, and their musical selections are always a delight,” Chamber Music Series president Bill Schwenterly said in the release.
All ORCMA subscription concerts include music by at least one composer or arranger from an underrepresented group – especially composers of color and women. Donations in support of ORCMA’s diverse programming are greatly appreciated, the statement said.
