Judy R. Sloff, 75, DuBois, died on Saturday April 24, 2021 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born July 20, 1945 in Warren, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Irene (Anderson) Atkins.
On September 18, 1965, she married Nicholas “Pseudo” Sloff in North Warren, Pennsylvania. He survives.
Judy is a graduate of Warren Area High School and DuBois Business College. She was employed as a buyer for Owens-Illinois before her retirement. Judy loved to cook, garden flowers, go bowling, attend her grandson’s sporting events, take long drives and spend time with family and friends. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her son, Nicholas W. (Rebecca) Sloff, St. College; and his grandson, Nicholas E. Sloff. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Judy was predeceased by her parents; and one brother, William F. Atkins Jr.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Immediately after the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. from the Funeral Chapel with Pastors John Emigh and Lance Tucker officiating. Due to current regulations, masks are mandatory and social distancing will be practiced. Visitors are asked to keep their visits brief to allow everyone to pay tribute to him. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
