ELKINS — The First United Methodist Church, in affiliation with Elkins United Christian Community Center (EUCCC), will host a monthly community brunch on the third Sunday of each month at the Family Life Center at First United Methodist Church.

Monetary gifts and/or donations of pantry items and personal hygiene items are requested at the Brunch entrance.

Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, “Lunch with the neighbors” performs at the First United Methodist Church. Hot meals, canned food and personal hygiene items are provided to more than 200 Elkins citizens struggling with resource issues.

The monthly brunches are open to the community at large and are a fundraising and resource-raising event for the Basic Needs Ministry affiliated with the Elkins United Christian Community Center, based at First United Methodist Church on the Kerens Avenue in downtown Elkins.

The EUCCC is a tax-exempt ecumenical organization that was established in June 2021 and is made up of local church members who work together to support missionary work and Christian evangelism in Elkins.
