Molly O. Cozad, 76, of Silver Creek, died unexpectedly Thursday April 22, 2021 in UPMC Hamot, Erie Pa.
She was born on February 6, 1945 in Jamestown, daughter of the late Merton L. and Irene Emley Harwood.
She graduated from Pine Valley High School in Cherry Creek in 1963 and enjoyed attending garage sales and thrift stores. Molly loved puzzles and loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Delos M. Cozad of Silver Creek, whom she married on June 23, 2000 in Texas; his children: Stephanie (James) Linger of Sherman, NY, David Babcock of Silver Creek, NY, Morris (Xian Li) Babcock of Ayer, Mass., Melissa (Matthew) Ciardello of Silver Creek, NY; stepchildren: Amy Weaver of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Julie Gould of Castle Rock, Colorado; small children; Emily, David, Stephen, Michaeljon, Jacob, Kristina, Angela, Adam, Elizabeth, Tabatha, Brian, Christina, Melody and Layla; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister Delores Thompson of Falconer; and many nieces and nephews and cousins,
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Savanna Babcock; one sister, Carolyn Van Ausdall; and brothers: Jon and Stephen G. Harwood.
His funeral service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. (April 26, 2021) at the Falconer funeral home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy of the Kennedy United Methodist Church will officiate. Due to CDC requirements and Covid-19 guidelines, face masks and social distancing will be required.
Friends will be received by family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
