Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church

Divorced? Separate? Starting the next chapter in newly single life means learning to deal with the emotional, spiritual, and economic challenges that these events can create.

The Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church invites those facing these life changes to enroll in DivorceCare â„¢, whose support groups operate in more than 12,000 churches around the world.

The 13-week study will begin Thursday, September 16 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the church’s youth lounge at 803. W. Kitty Hawk Rd. In Kitty Hawk, NC Participants register by mailing electronically at [email protected] or by calling the church office at 252-261-2062 or completing a Sunday newsletter insert response.

Natalie Drummond, Course Leader, will charge $ 20 for the DivorceCare â„¢ workbook and future course materials at the first meeting.

As one participant from Florida attested: “The divorce recovery program has given me back something I thought I had lost: hope. Each week brings me a little closer to where I need and want to be one day, fulfilling not only in life, but more importantly, myself.

Join other members of the Outer Banks community looking to adjust to these major life changes by signing up for this DivorceCare â„¢ study this fall.
